What do you do when you're extremely sleepy (and sleeping isn't an option) but you still want to wake up, and feel more alert?
I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.

Drink or eat something (can be very light), be around a bright light source - the sun is best, and/or any kind of exercise, typing doesn't count.

If I'm at home I brush my teeth because whenever I'm sleepy and wanting to go to sleep I brush my teeth and end up waking myself up.

It happens to me all the time. The worse part is coffee or tea don't work for me. I have to keep myself alert by multitasking or doing things at the same time. Maybe you could try that. It might help you.

As I enter the gym... Ha! Joking aside, normally when i'm coding at night time (around 8pm somtimes at college) I once fell asleep in my chair. Normally infront of the TV or PC I say.
