Not necessarily, posting **** like this is just indirectly calling him ugly. Anyone can enter, who are you to judge?

If you were to enter a competition like this and people said it's your own fault because you're ugly, would you be hurt? leave the guy alone. Who ever defined what is beauty anyway?

i'm not saying it's his fault that people are saying things to him, or that he deserves it. however he must of had the slightest clue that SOMEONE would of said something rude about his appearance. in the end yes it's a shame he quit the comp but yes, he would of known when entering.

Why lol? then you try to defend the fact that you aren't calling him ugly.

Beauty is just another trend that started centurys ago. Did you know that fat people used to actually be something a woman looked for in a man? A long time ago but it just proves beauty is just a trend that people have just picked up on and ones eye just follows another.

I don't think that is true Shaz. Everybody is pretty, it's just that people are so quick to judge these days even when they're not exactly perfect themselves.

Remember, these competitions are not supposed to be restricted and anyone can enter as Richie said. Such a shame some people take it so far to threaten others.

And lets just say, atleast he had the guts to post his picture whether everyone thinks he is ugly or not. The whole reason he quit was due to threats, not people making bad remarks about him.

If you enter a beauty competition you're essentially opening yourself up to being voluntarily judged, therefore if you're willing to be called beautiful you should also be able to put up with being called ugly.

Well that's certainly not true.

As people have mentioned, he put himself into a beauty competition so he knew people were going to judge him on his looks. He might not have expected to be judged by tens of thousands of people by the end of it, and of course actual threats aren't much fun, but he knew what he was doing when he entered. Also Richie, physical attraction is as old as life itself, it's not limited to the past few centuries of humanity
