    Default Strange spot on nose..

There's a spot on the side of my nose, that apparently has been on the side of my nose for a few weeks. Being the idiot that I am, I decided to pick at it (which yes, is completely disgusting) Suddenly my nose starts pumping bleeding, not just a tiny bit of blood that would normally come from a spot. It was dripping down my face and was all thick and stuff. It kept bleeding for a good while and a lot of tissue was used! I find this very strange, it was as if I'd been punched in the nose, but all it was is a small spot?

Like, 10 minutes ago, I'd completely forgotten about what had happened yesterday.. so I picked at the spot again (don't ask :rolleyes Once again, the side of my nose starts pumping bleeding, all running down my face and all over my hands and all in my teeth and it kept going for longer this time, it was just as thick blood as it was yesterday. So yeah, I'm very sure this isn't normal for the side of my nose to bleed that bad, after all it was a little spot. I dunno. Has anyone ever had a similar situation? Should I just ignore it? Is it nothing to worry about? I really dunno what it is :/

I would get it checked out just to make sure it is not any problem. No point keep picking it and worrying. As you say 'normal' spots don't bleed like that so best not to leave it.
