    Default Chrome and Flash/Shockwave problem

Has anyone experienced any issues with Flash and Shockwave regulary crashing in Chrome?

I have the latest version of chrome (non beta) and the latest versions of flash and shockwave - I regularly check for updates.

For ages now I've been having issues with the plugin's. It often seems to happen if I have two or more flash pages running e.g. If I've got two flash videos such as two YouTube videos open or two flash games such as two Facebook games open.

I got home on thursday night and tried to watch torchwood on iplayer and the picture kept freezing but the sound remained and I tried again last night and the plugin just kept crashing and had to switch to Internet Explorer 9.

The reason I left Firefox was something similar and I have no idea what causes it. Internet explorer while slower, doesn't seem to have the problems. I'm not an internet explorer fan, but if this keeps happening it's going to drive me away to it.

    Anyone experienced this?

If you've experienced something similar on Firefox too, it could just be a case of CPU/RAM shortage. Every time a new Flash object is up, it generates a plugin-container.exe which are quite heavy on resources.

Then again, you might have a powerhouse PC and this isn't the problem at all

It's an old PC so that could be the case. The weird thing is sometimes its fine and sometimes its not. I left firefox because I got plugin errors all the time took me sometimes 5-10 minutes to read my emails. When I went onto Chrome it was fine for a while then started slowly turning into firefox.

I have 2gb ram, dual core amd. I do need a new PC just can't afford it at the moment.
