    Default 1st Job!

i'm looking into getting myself a job for many different reasons but the main reason is because I need to start growing up & sorting myself out...

I don't want to go back to college as Barnet has put me off College for life & also because idk what I want to do... I passed all required GCSE's apart from Maths... I was 3% off a C

If i was to go back to college what would u suggest. Also the main question is...

Where should I look for my 1st job? (even though I have looked everywhere)

Harsh reality to push you back to college: McDonalds or shelf-stacking at a supermarket. You should do some sort of practical skills course somewhere, like a mechanic or something like that.

Do a BTEC or an apprenticeship, cause if not, the only job you'll end up getting is something like at Asda or a rubbish dead end job like that. I'd definitely consider going back to college.

Do an IT BTEC Course, IT is exploding on the scene and everywhere will need people proficient in the skill.

In my personal opinion and from other people apprenticeships are terrible... Just cause you work and yehh get paid but like next to nothing... have to do the ********* parts of the job and get generally treated like **** in most places. Plus on top of working and earning like no money you will also have college work to do.

Personally i would just enroll on a Btec course, they are brilliant give you a lot more skills and enjoyment than an a level ever could... You should do something practical as you might enjoy it more.

    What are your interests ??
