    Default The Haunted Shadow

The Haunted Shadow is going to be a Youtube based film, or should i say "Series" show. It's all going to be tapped from my Ipod Touch as it has a nice HD view. If you have a recording device with HD view and want to take part of this soon to come YouTube show, then reply saying so.

The Haunted Shadow is going to be a little like Paranormal Activity. But it's going to be more "acting" than trying to make it "real life". On the other hand, it's kinda going to have the feel of real life & acting". More info, just PM me and i'll let ya know and of course, whoever wants to take part, more info will be provided. Mainly looking for people over 16, but i guess i can fit a few others in somewhere, in one of the episodes. ps. If you know you can't act, please don't take part.
    Thanks

    What equipment are you using?

If you really want to make something professional I recommend getting hold of a decent camera unless your obviously going for the hand held camera kind of look.

The only worry you might have is sound, as the problem with built in microphones is they aren't that great. However boom microphones aren't cheap

It is the same as a video camera. Iv'e already filmed myself a few times and put it on youtube with it and it's perfect. Nice wide screen, clear view & sound.

Sadly if it was the same as a video camera companies like the BBC and ITV wouldn't spend loads on video cameras but sadly there's a massive difference. Also video camera's are used just for the picture. The majority of sound comes from boom microphones pointed directly at the people out of shot, often plugged into a mixer, giving the best sound. There's a lot more work then simply picking up a camera and hitting record.

Your the one who seemed to say it was a great camera and stuff I was just saying it wasn't.

I do think you are advertising it possibly on the wrong place though. You've mentioned nothing on locations - everyone from here are from all over so you might find it hard to get actors to travel down especially if they are not going to get paid.

Your best bet is to simply use some friends. There are websites to get actors and stuff, but the problem is if you want people who can act they rarely do it for free.
