Default Odd number rep power ?

Well in your faq's you state if someone -reps another user half of their rep power will take place in the -repping, so what happens if you have a odd number of rep points e.g if i had 35 rep power and i -repped someone how much would come off?

i think you half it and round it down, so 35 becomes 14 if you minus rep

I assume it's rounded up after being halved. For example 29 becomes 15, 51 becomes 26, 17 becomes 9, 7 becomes 4, 35 becomes 18 and so on. But I am not certain.

Rounded down 35 would be 17, not 14.

Hmm I thought it was rounded down but I too am not certain. It'd make more sense to go up because 1 rep power is -1 for a negative, but I thought 3 was -1 too.

It is rounded down yes, hence why someone with 1 rep power cannot remove any rep at all. As Jen said, it's stupid that it halves it at all really as that completely takes away from the point of it - there are only a handful of members who can actually make a difference by -repping anyone with the way it is now

What's with all the feedback threads? I always thought it would subtract your rep power from their rep points.

Attempt at MOTM I am guessing lmao

I still firmly believe it should be the full amount removed.. half for both or full for both.
