HXSS - isn't it supposed to be a competition?

I know it can't be easy organising a huge number of events all in a small space of time, but you know it's coming every year and you must know from past experience that this always happens. "This" being one team running away with the entire thing because absolutely everyone and their cat is in that one team.

The event I'm currently at (Island Attack) calls for a large number of participants, and so far quite literally 80% of people taking part have been on the green team, which puts them at something of a massive advantage. Would it not be a far better idea to make it actually be a competition by having equal numbers of people from each team to start with at these events? It seems remarkably unfair that yet again one team has all of the active entrants.

Could we not have some sort of script when you go to join the permission groups that will randomly put you in a team?
I guess that it would make it more equal then

Everyone joined green team, i think, because they won last year and people believe history will repeat itself.

It's impossible to have equal number of people on each team because it just ignores lots of other factors like activity. It is also impossible because there are people outside of Habbox who come to the events and join the loudest team. Another thing completely out of control of AGMs because loudest team isn't necessarily the one with the most but the one with the 'biggest' personalities.

Because it's such a big thing it's very hard to control. I remember my first year managing the green team and just because your team isn't the biggest doesn't mean you have to give up. You can keep fighting. There's two weeks, a lot can happen in two weeks!

I'm not saying membership ought to be done in equal numbers, I'm saying that entry to the actual events should be. As in if there's a 12 person event get the first 4 from each team that shows up, not 10 from green and 2 from whichever other team happens to show up. That way membership might even equalise itself anyway as people will be more willing to join the underrepresented teams in order to have more chance of getting to play

Perhaps next time the prize should be for the top person from EACH team.

That way, it would be logical (if you want to win thrones), to not go in the team with masses of people..

OH right! I see, that's actually a good idea now I know what you mean. It'd make the games fairer but it would still ignore other factors like which team has the biggest addicts so don't think it'll have much use in making hxss a fairer competition in the long term.

as for the prizes im sure they used to be like that (it was during my first year). dunno why that's been changed. i dont think the prizes thing has been worded very well tbh.

So basically you believe a winner at the end from all FOUR teams should get at least a throne? As at the moment it's a winner from the top three teams.
