American Pie 4 (American Reunion)

Fans of the original 3 films will be really pleased to hear: American Pie 4 will be in cinemas summer 2012! Forget the spin-offs, the long-awaited sequel to the massive box office successes that were the original 3 films begins production on May 24, 2011. Of the original cast the following have signed on; Jason Biggs (Jim), Seann William Scott (Stifler) Alyson Hannigan (Michelle) Thomas Ian Nichols (Kevin) Kevin Myers Chris Klein (Oz), Eugene Levy (Jim's Dad) and Tara Reid (Victoria). Rumours suggest that Natasha Lyonne (Jessica) and Eddie Kaye Thomas (Finch) are in talks - as are many more of the original cast.

One website reports "the story will be centered around Jim and Michelle’s pregnancy. The friends all reunite for the birth and a weekend of memories, when all hell breaks loose" although nothing has been confirmed yet regarding the storyline.

I am BUZZED for this!!!

Seen the American Pie's unlikely that I will go see it because the rating is probably way over 13 and American Pie isn't that great of a film but I could be enjoyable to others.

I wouldn't really say that applies to Alyson though, she's done quite well imo.

This could be great if they get good writers on it - preferably not anyone who's had anything to do with "comedy" films like Mean Girls 2 where the only humour is someone falling in a bin
