    Default Insurance - Switching Address

Basically I'll be getting insured again soon to drive. I'll be switching from Northern Ireland to Mainland UK. If I get insured with an all UK company, let's say Quinn Direct. If I phone them and tell them I've changed address. Will that work? What will happen? I'll be over in Lancaster 7 months of the year and then I'll be in N.I for 5 months. I'll only probably be bringing my car back for Summer though. But does this work, is it plausible? Cheers.

I'd ring your current insurance company up and ask what your options are, seeing as you'll be spending most of the year in the UK, they might say you don't even need to do anything.

You're probably better phoning the insurance company up and reading out that post to them...
