Reason for that is i only want it for BBM (sad ino but thats the way it goes) Anyone know where the cheapest place to get one is? Idc about minites texts etc just want a bb so i can use bbm. Cheapest i found so far is £13.50 but do i have to pay for bbm on top of this or not? Can anyone help me out with finding the cheapest or with explaining how bbm works & if i gotta pay extra for it etc. Thankyou ill +rep

BBM uses constant internet so you'd need a contract with unlimited internet. my contract is a white blackberry bold 9800 (dunno exact w/o looking), £25 a month with unlimited texts, unlimited internet & 600 mins with vodaphone

i've found one for £22 a month, don't think you'll get one under £20 a month to be honest

bets thing to do is look on carphone warehouse (which cover all networks) or you could look on each individual networks site and work out exactly what you want from your contract

On pay as you go, you pay five pounds a month for BBM.
BBM is part of the blackberry bolt on (the fiver you spend is for this). this is for access to the blackberry server - all internet services run through RIM blackberry server and not your network (which is why blackberry's are favoured for business).

On contract, if it states BB on the tariff it's included.

I'll repost in two minutes with a deal including it.
I would go for the curve 9300, latest software and cheapest (the curve 8520 has been out like 2-3 years! the software is stuck on os 5. we're now on os 7!).

This includes £180 by redemption, so you send them your bills and they send you a cheque.

200 minutes, 3000 texts, 250MB of data (blackberry bolt on).
this won't cost you extra, you do NOT need unlimited internet because you've stated you're using it for BBM only. With BBM it barely uses any data. Plus keep in mind blackberry devices use 2/3's less internet than any other phone (on avg) this means the average BB user uses 250MB of data. When I had a bold/torch the most i ever got to was 300MB.

orange is a good network, best coverage, more customers than anyone else, t-mobile signal and of course your magic numbers (free unlimited calls to a nominated orange user) AND you are allowed upto six, pick a new one every six months.

nah it doesn't matter, pleasure to help.
I know you can get blackberry's cheaper but tbh that's going to the curve. it's well worth the spend!
or buy a BB curve 9300 for £150 off phones4u and put your current sim in it?
