Default HP a good laptop ?

Considering buying a HP laptop in about two months, curious to know if they really are good laptops..

Some people have said they're terrible, some have said they are brilliant to have..

Let me know what they're really like.. worth getting or best to leave it!

    Thanks!

I've about 8 laptops bookmarked, trying to see which gets good comments.

This HP laptop is about €360, not so bad. But need to know are they worth getting.

I tend to like HP laptops - I rarely notice any problems with them. I think the two main companies to look out for are Dell and HP. It depends what laptop you get though, spec wise

I've loved both of my HP laptops, solid build quality, decent pricing, nice styling and high quality parts - Just a laptop you turn on and works, no song or dance, nothing to think about. I haven't really had experience with support yet so I can't comment on that.

(I have however had terrible encounters with dell customer support, motherboard was replaced and then still broken, three replacement power supplies, hard drive wore out after six months etc. All this on one laptop)

Oh that's great, I've got good comments and bad. Could you give me you're opinion on this particular laptop, if you don't mind.

I bought a laptop a couple of months ago and decided to go with HP over Dell. Very pleased. All has been well. I would recommend them.

I've currently got a Dell laptop, had it 3 years it's given me nothing but trouble. The HP laptop I'm looking at is this.
