This is my first try making a website design so I am pretty bad at it and i need a bit of help. I like what I have so far apart from the purple background. However I am not sure what to put as the background, if someone could give me a few idea's it would help me a lot. Also any other constructive criticism is welcome.

Very cramped and bland, sorry. You have much more space to play with I'd say so maybe space things out more.

It's nothing special i know, The main reason for it is to test my xhtml and css coding skills i learnt the other day and if i get coed this to work, i might look into paying someone who is good at layouts to put something together
