Default Android Applications - Speed, Feel etc

I find my wildfire is slow at times and i'm on the hunt for things to pimp it out, please don't google things to speed it up, i'm not ******ed I know how to google!

So have you's had any good app discoveries that have saved a lot of frustration on your android?

    How old is your wildfire?

I got mine, and I have rooted, s-off and installed Cyanogenmod. Overclocked it and it runs everything like a dream now, Does not lag at all, if you know how to do it I recommend it, the only other thing I can suggest is don't keep apps open.

HTC Sense is one of the worst "apps" for killing performance. Root it and get CyanogenMod on it and you'll think it's a brand new phone.
