    Default Formatting PC

Right basically I need to format my pc cause it's messing up constantly and i wanna get rid of all the crap, so ive saved my stuff i need to keep to my D drive.

I was watching a video on how to do it, and this screen comes up with windows 7 when you boot from the disk and it says you delete both the partitions then start a clean install ,but would this mean that all the data on my D drive gets deleted? or will it save? +REP for help

Just delete the data on your C partition and then install to that. You might have a reserved partition that's showing up which the guide might be implying you should delete.

You'll likely have 3 if you already have D, it'll be:

System Reserved (hidden from my computer, you should delete this in the Windows setup, iirc it's ~100MB)
    Your main C OS drive
    Your D data drive

You need to remove the top two.
