[+REP] iPhone iOS5 Problems

Well today I updated my iPhone 4 to iOS5, before the update I backed it up in the hope that I would have all my apps etc all there. For some reason they've all disappeared and I can't backup from a different time as it only gives me one. Anyone know what to do and if I can get my apps back?

To add, it's as if all my apps have gone but the data is still there e.g. my logins etc

I heard this happen to people. It happened to me, sort of. Except my apps downloaded themselves back, just not in order. It was a pain. It should be easy just downloading them back. Just go to where you would update your apps and look at your list of "purchased" apps. It should have a list of everything you'd installed.
