Runescape or World of Warcraft?

WoW is better, but you have to pay for it

Wow is generally more better (More maturity) but due to the fact it's £10. Runescape is only £3-4 a month by choice.

I prefer runescape personally. I played wow for a year, and didn't like how committed you had to be to play it. At the level cap, the only way to get decent gear was to raid... To get in a decent raiding guild you'd have to go 2-3 a week for a few hours (at least)...and raiding wasn't something I particularly enjoyed. I really enjoyed levelling though... And exploring.
The thing I loved about wow is the world and the pretty graphics. As a game, I prefer runescape... If RS had wow graphics it'd be the perfect game for me. But then, it wouldn't be a browser game and would cost more per month so meh.

I agree Satire. WoW has a pretty nice variety of environments; I do have to say that Cataclysm ruined some of them for me though. My favorite area was still old Azshara.

WoW Completely got rid of my social life for about 2 years, never playing it again, nuff said.
