Headrest unit

Hi,

Well one of my friends sold me a Necvox headrest unit the 7" one for £10, Now all i got was the actual screen and the brackets, i assume its been robbed. Now iv done some googleing and im missing this;
INTERCONNECTION BOX AD-6865
Which is the box that connects to the battery but also takes the inputs, Now i have a extension cable for it and i was wondering if i ripped some of the wire could i hard wire it into the cable? as this interconnection box is valued at £25-50 i don't really want to have to spend any more money on it.

I'd be tempted to say you need the interconnection box by looking at the manual (the connection looks like data rather than raw audio/raw/power). Could be wrong though.

Just hold out until someone is selling one second hand? Also, are you just planning on putting this in one headrest?

Iv looked around for a preowned part cant find it at all :/ and nah, was most likely going to put it somewere else haven't really thought it through yet to be honest
