For a apprenticeship because they don't have a website so i contacted them via. telephone and they just said like what I just said that i can come in to hand in my CV and Cover Letter and then wait for a reply; since then i haven't heard anything back since.

I thought if you do a apprentaship you gotta have a college to go to aswel? confused

I extremely doubt any garden centers run apprenticeships in... in the UK at least...

I know a few friends who got part times in gardencentersbecause you don't need much expertise, so I'd just apply. But different countries different rules I guess.
