Best tree seeds to plant?

Hi,

First off I'm not sure if to wait or not, till prices fall so I can get more for my money on tree seeds. Do you think waiting is worth it?

If not what tree seeds do you recommend I buy? I want good exp and quite cheap. I'm 83 farm I think

Not 100% on the current RS prices.

Look for the one which gives the highest exp for the lowest cost.

Divide both numbers by 100, make a chart, work something out.

Eg:
Cost 88 Per speed, the seed gives 120exp.

0.88 per 1.2 exp.

Get it? Find the one thats afforable to you, and gives the most exp

papaya and maple

Yeh papaya + maple are best i think


I only calced maple + yew

Yew seed gets 7150.9 XP and costs 84.5k for seed, and 70.47k for farmer to look after it, so total 154,970 gp

So it's 21.67gp per XP

Maple seed gets 3448.4 XP and costs 37.4k for seed and approx 7.5k for oranges, so total 44,900 gp

So 13.02gp per XP

I would personally do papaya, as papaya fruits are useful for making potions and they sell well

I heard yews are good because only 1 in 8 die if you don't pay the farmer?

I normally pick my cactus (at al-kharid) everytime i do a herb run, so i dont have to fork out another 70k for the cover cost.

So i prefer to do yews mostly.
