    Default Home Cinema Help!

I'm thinking of getting a 5.1 home cinema, but I already have a PS3. So I was wondering if I could buy a DVD home cinema and just use my PS3 as it instead, but I know that some players act as the amp as well.. Just need some clarification on it and any recommendations on some good 5.1 blu ray systems from experience or someone you know has it Thanks in advance!

Get an AV Switcher/Amp and some speakers/a sub. Then plug TV, PS3 etc into the switcher/amp.

    I'd recommend Onkyo.

    Experience.

Logitech z5500. But that is outdated.

How much do you reckon that would cost? Cause atm my parents are against me even getting a home cinema!

Everything seems to be 3D blu ray which is annoying, having a 3D blu ray HCS wouldn't affect the price that much would it?

    Not sure.

    I wouldn't bother with 3D... a) It's 3D LOL (gawd I hate 3D), b) you need a 3D capable TV, switcher, player etc.

Don't bother with one of those home cinema kits. You can get much better quality audio by getting an AVreceiverand hooking up some nice speakers to it.
