    Default Theory Test

    Hello,
How long did you revise for your theory test before you actually took it? What resources did you use? What score did you get? Did you pass it first time?

    Cheers!

Ran through a few online tests, a few hazard perceptions and checked a couple of questions I wasn't sure on on my way to the centre, passed first time, 47/50 on the test and lost like 5 marks on the hazard perception or something.

When you click on the hazard perception, wait 2 seconds then click again, just in case you clicked too soon

I've just started looking at hazard perception... surely there's loads of hazards in each clip? People walking up the road, someone at the bus stop, car pulling out, etc? How do you know which to click? Can you click as many times as you want (as long as it doesn't think you're cheating)?

Well done on your good result though!

I'd suggest you do an online test and see what you're like at the multiple-choice section. I'd then spend an hour or two revising it online (maybe more if you did really badly). Make sure you've got the hang of how the hazard perception works and you should be okay, click lots and even small things but not excessively for no need.

I unnecessarily revised for about 5 hours beforehand and got 50/50 both times I sat it but was useless when it came to hazard perception (quite reflective really as I'm an awful driver and passed on my third attempt purely through luck).

I went through an AA book and did nearly all the questions, I also did mock tests for both the questions and hazard perception on a BSM disk, as well as using the AA Iphone app when I could. Passed first time, 46/50 for the questions and 63/75 for the hazard perception.

    Good luck.

I got the CD in November and passed in January after doing a few tests every week on the disc. I could have sat it earlier but I kept putting it off. Got 45/50 and 59/75.

Sounds reassuring since I'm really nervous when it comes to any kind of test. Think I'm going to book my theory test soon
