    Default Good hair dyes?

For a few years now I've wanted to dye my hair bright blue, but my mums always said no.

Anyway, she's finally said yes but I need to buy it etc.

My hair is kinda a dark brown/red atm, and I don't want to bleach it.

Does anyone know any good bright blue hair dyes which work without bleach??

I've heard that manic panic is good but yeah.

I've also heard that LIVE hair dyes are good, but i dunno. LOL

if your hair is dark brown/red like you say, and you just put a blue dye over it, it wont work well :/ you will have to lighten your hair if you want it to be bright blue.

Exactly what he said. You are fooling yourself if you think you're going to get 'bright' blue hair with no bleach judging by the state of your current colour. Best of luck all the more!

I would, but it's normally way too overpriced.

Would it work if I gradually lightened my hair with very light browns/almost blondes? Or would I definitely have to bleach it??

think of it as like, the lighter your hair, the brighter blue it would be. so if you want it to be extremely bright then you'd have to go bleach blonde
