WHO WAS NATHAN WILLS?
He was the musician who made nearly 80% my background music over the past 4 years. He was one of the best friends I've ever had and to top it off, we were born on the same exact day only hours apart. Even our sisters were born on the same exact day, only hours apart. What are the odds of THAT happening??? Needless to say, we had a lot in common.

ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
This video was taken at my favorite beach in Malibu, California when he came to visit me in 2009. It was the first video I ever took of him. At the time, I was just testing out my new camera and never planned on making this footage public. Now it's one of the most precious clips I have. THIS is a prime reason why you should never delete any pictures or videos without having backups. Nathan Wills became like a brother to me over the years. He helped me through some of the hardest parts of my life and I was there for a lot of his hard times. I can't blame myself for not being there when he took his life because we (his family and friends) all believe that he was planning this. There were lots of other thing in his life that he was dealing with and this was his way of ending his own suffering and helping others around him move on by giving them the shock that they needed to LIVE. I couldn't tell you everything as much of it is personal but all I can say is that we understand why. Nathan Wills was a good man and had no bad intentions in doing this.

BUT... suicide should NEVER be the answer!

Nathan's situation was a VERY unique one and just because you are sad, doesn't mean you should follow in his path. I was upset at the news of his suicide but after speaking with his family and knowing the way he was, I accepted his decision. I too believe that suicide is never the answer but in Nathan's case, we have to accept it like we accept other people's religions.

ARE YOU CONSIDERING SUICIDE?
If you are, please find help! There are lots of amazing people out there who will bring you back to the light. Stay positive! There's always an answer. So don't let it be death!

RIP to the man, but it just seems like whomever are saying buy his album to support his family are exploiting the mans death for monetary purposes. i understand that he may be the breadwinner, but it just doesn't sit right with me to use nathan's suicide to get money out of others (especially since it's evident that he was flooded with issues that he just couldn't deal with). doesn't seem respectful to the man who took his life.

His life was music and to become a music artist and to sell his work. So they are continuing what he never finished, and to help his family. It may seem bad at first, but its his really good friends and they aren't taking any money out of it.

naw, still doesn't sit right. mind you, we see it all the time with famous musicians who are dead (well, every single one lol). but under the surface of everything, all i see is the greedy underbelly of the music industry and how the majority of artists (and obviously the people behind him) are fuelled by money (well the whole world is), and not ~making music as it's art/love doing it.
