I know I haven't been on Habbox or Habbo in a while (I keep coming back and saying that I'll be here for a while but then that doesn't happen >) and I just wanna catch up with all the latest happenings on Habbo.

So, just a few days ago, I went to Habbo for the fun of it, and noticed quite noticeably changes.

First ~ You have to pay ONE COIN to promote your room, or to have visibility? What the heck is that?! I thought Habbo was mainly a free game, you can create your own FREE room, but now... 1c, really?! Is Habbo that desparate for money?

Second ~ I know you guys will just disagree or say whatever, but I just returned (I don't know the new tricks and the reasons of such stuff!) and I also noticed, Starter Sets. Like the Kurma stuff right? You have to pay 2 pumpkins... What happened?

The games, like that Racing Car game. Is that from Habbo, or Sulake? Just askin

Okay, I know this thread is kinda short, I just would like to know Curiousity is bugging me.

It's for Habboween the latter they won't new players to buy credits when they first start playing. Other is the new form of Events.

Streetz is worst game I ever played and developers payed to habbo to promote them

Promotions only just came in after events were removed because of the great mute. If I'm honest, nearly everyone hates the new events and there are promises of even more pointless promotions to come!

Pumpkins should also be being removed soon as Halloween has been and gone, then credits should be back to normal until the next seasonal currency (probably at Christmas).

Yes promotions are the new "events". Sulake are starting to charge users for everything because of how poorly they've done this year financially (as a guess because of the mute and the C4 issue). Promotions don't even help that much tbh... most of the rooms on there were already popular before promotions.

Well the Pixel stuff was all removed with Pixels in July or whenever, so it's weird they put this back on. I have no idea why they're charging Pumpkins for it because it's insane and only new users will fall for it unfortunately.

No it's made by a third party, just like many of the games in the foreseeable future on Habbo.

Promotions are sooo cheap. I'm disappointed. I miss when Habbo used to be about fun and getting involved in the community.

I agree Habbo is horrid getting less interesting everyday now! Also those gamess they recently brought out are horrendous!

Ikr, the car game they've probably been payed to put it there. The other game made by the university students are to see what game is played the most then they will probably expand on that game.
