Do you enjoy Christmas more now, or when you was a kid?

I personally thought it was much better when i was a kid, when i was a believer. But now it's kind of i just wake up and go downstairs and open a few bits and bobs my parents bothered to get me. I love getting hyped up about it, but it's slightly disappointing on the day when it's not as magical as it used to be. I used to love it when i was a child!

    What about you guys?

younger. there was more 'magic' to everything and a lot more effort on the families part was put into the equation. the build up to getting presents, the fun of the season and the general 'merry' feeling has gotten weaken as i've gotten older. plus, there are no young children in my immediate family, so no one has to put on the front. i'll probably enjoy it more when i have kids.

I think I was excited when I was younger, a bit decreased say about 14-16 but now I get excited by it. It's more mainly because it's Christmas, not because of the presents or anything I just really like it as a day to relax etc.

When I was a kid. I still love it but the magic has gone My sister is pregnant and the baby is due in June, so I'll be able to spoil the baby next Christmas and tell him/her how epic Christmas is

there are lots of parts of xmas i prefer now, the food, seeing the relatives, seeing everyone else open their presents, but the only thing i miss about xmas being a kid was being able to play with all my toys during midday, now there's a bit of a slump between xmas dinner and going to my aunties, but it really is my favourite day of the year!

nothing has really changed for me to be honest (apart from the believing in santa obvs) because now that i'm older i help organise things with the family which i would say makes up for the whole 'magical' thing when i was a kid. i'd deffo say i'm more into christmas spirit nowadays. when i was younger it was just all about the presents

Definitely younger. Lots of happy memories! Christmas/New Year has never been a bit of a sad time for my family since my granny died.

Obviously when I was younger, I think that's the case for most people. I think it's only when you have your own kids that the excitement of Christmas really comes back, lots of my friends who have children who're old enough to understand are sooo excited!

The actual Christmas day was more enjoyable when I was little but I love the build up to Christmas more now as I love decorating the house and organising/helping buy all the presents and secret santas etc leading up to the day rather than the actual day itself.
