Thread: Timer

    Default Timer

Why does my timer reset everytime I enter the room, despite me wiring it to turn on at a set time after timer resets?

Idk what happened, but it just restarts when I enter the room, is it supposed to be like this anyway?

And also, please check if my wired is ok.
I've tested it around 3 times already on this wired configuration, it works for me. But I'm just concerned about the auto-reset of the timer when I enter the room.

    Stack 1:
User walks on furni trigger + Match Pos & State Effect (on Hidden object, exit tile to the start position) + Timer Reset Effect + Match Pos & State Condition (to original state of Hidden Object)

    Stack 2:
At Set time Trigger + Toggle Furni State effect (Timer)

    Stack 3:
Game Ends Trigger + Match Pos & State Condition (exit tile at start pos) + Match Pos & State effect (on another hidden object, exit tile to trap)

    Stack 4:
Repeat effect trigger + Toggle Furni State (on hidden object, hidden timer) + Match Pos& State condition (on hidden object for the hidden timer)

Then the habbos who died will land on exit tile in a trap where they'll then be directed to a place they can enter a tele back to entrance... Kinda messy though.

Is there a simpler way? Anyway this method works.

I think if you're the first person entering the room and there was no one in it already, it'll reset but if not it won't? I'm just guessing, haven't looked at the stacks you've mentioned as I'm not sure how to do it .

    Not online very often

I've reduced the wired just now. I've figured a method thats shorter and save up on some wired boxes...

    Stack 3:
Game Ends Trigger + Match Pos & State Condition (exit tile at start pos, the hidden object at the changed state) + Match Pos&State Effect (Exit tile to trap, hidden object to original state) + Toggle furni state (Hidden timer)

for some reason at set time triggers are triggered when a user enters an empty room. so if you have the trigger set to 30 seconds, the timer will start again after 30 seconds since you entered the empty room.

Oh, so thats a reason why it activates after 2 minutes. So it's kinda unavoidable... Hmm, ok anyway thanks for the help!

it shouldn't be a problem though, it's unlikely that the queue will fill up in 5 minutes since the first person enters the room.
