    Default Corruption?

Hey guys, Just need some serious advice quick.

Basically i'm in year 12, and one of the courses i've taken is Business BTEC.
I have 4 different teachers for this subject, Long story short...

I've passed with 3 teachers, one teacher keeps failing my work, even though its at the same standards of other students.
End of term came, he's told me that he's failing me and he doesn't want me in the college, but if i change college he'll give me the grades. Now tbh i don't think thats fair? I also didn't know he was capable of doing this?

I was also told by other teachers they discuss students they want to keep and kick out in the staff room, and that its to do with Favouritism and race, i was also told by a couple teachers that, they're trying to make the 6form a one race community. And since i'm Mixed Race it doesn't help.

A teacher also showed me a email from the head of year saying who they want to progress to year 13 and who should be kicked out.

    Any advice please?

Have you tried going to the principal? I know you said head of year but surely you have one of them too or to the government board thing? It shouldn't be about that nor should it be about race, if it's the same standards the teacher must hold some grudge against you that's not worth it! If you get what I mean.

I understand what your saying. Its at the point where i started the schools website for the 6Form and Lower school then my head of 6form kicked me off the job and gave it to less capable students (who are up his ass) And he called my mum in a tried talking her into sending me into Work rather than 6form. They we're trying to make me looook so bad infront of my mum, saying how i'm their favourite pupil etc.

But the thing is, i've spoken to other BTEC teachers, and they've told me theirs studesnts who haven't dont near to no work and they are being progressed? I'm hoping to see the principle tomorrow after i get my results.

This is too much stress for me to handle at the moment -__-

This seems all too surreal... If the other teachers are passing you and one isn't, even though you clearly have the grades as he will give them to you if you change college, then something is definitely amiss! Have you talked to the principal as Samanfa suggested? You would need evidence the teacher(s)/college are plotting something. Have your work independently looked at and tell them that the teacher failing you definitely is up to something.

He said this infront of another Pupil about going to another college, so i'm hoping to go to the Principal tomorrow with him. I doubt they will believe me since i'm just a student and hes their social peer and work colleague.

Also, hes the only BTEC teacher in the 6form who looks at that section (Business and marketing) So he can only mark my work. any advice?

Why don't you print off that email you got sent?

Ah that makes. Try the principal. If that doesn't work, there should be people you can go to for complaints (not sure what the right protocol is with complaints with teachers beyond the principal).

This sounds extremely serious. If you suspect it is because of racial discrimination then he could be sacked from your school.

Like Gomme said, go to the principal, and if he fails to help I'm sure you would go to the board of governors of OFSTED to make a formal complain?

This might sound like a daft idea; but if you get a significantly lowered grade by that one individual teacher, don't BTEC's get externally examined to check teachers are on the right lines with grading?

Hopefully it'll all work out for you! You should be fine - teachers are incapable of giving lower grades on the basis of pupil preference.

    superhappy.
