    Default Anaemia?

Is anyone Anaemic? I keep coming up in loads of bruises on my legs, I get dizzy, pins and needles and complete loss of appetite. Been to Dr's this morning and she said it could be anything from anaemia to cancer. So I'm trying to forget about the cancer and pray it's anaemia. Getting test results back tomorrow so fingers x'ed .

But has anyone got/had anaemia and experienced what I'm going through at the minute? I look like a victim of abuse It can get that bad.

    Thank youuu x

I'm anaemic but I've never got a symptom of bruises? Didn't even know it was one and I've had it for 9 years

Its pretty tough like I came off my iron tablets because I felt better and I woke up this morning feeling like I was spinning round it can be horrible. You'll get super super tired but if you get given iron tablets that'll sort it out.

I fainted a while back to because I had found out when I was 7 that I was anaemic but I ran the course and i thought I was fine then a few years later I fainted, as I said before, and I had to go for a blood test and I had it again (I think I wasn't actually 'cured' of it the first time but it just got better) which is probably the worst thing about it

I used to have it but I think I'm okay now. I wouldn't jump straight to cancer as it's very unlikely if that's your only symptom!!

I used to just get really purpley blue patches on my extremities (my feet still turn purple a lot) and I used to bruise like a peach but I'm much better now. It manifests in different ways though! Wait for the results before worrying though

Thank you both of you . Can't help but worry, can't wait for the results though. I'm not jumping straight to cancer, she just said it was a possibility, along with anaemia and other things i can't remember.

Thanks again though, It's kind of reassuring to hear other people's symptoms.

I used to think I did because I kept getting nosebleeds and dizzy turns. I went to the doctor and everything was fine. I just ate more green veg just in case.

I have an iron deficiency which I take tablets for. I used to get bad headaches/feel tired all the time. My sister is anemic and used to have black outs. Good luck for your test results tomorrow!

I'm delicate alright . I look like a victim of abuse haha. I've never fainted but I guess everyone differs. Thanks a lot though

I can't stand vegetables, so thats ruled out. I have a really poor diet so if it is a vitamin deficiency, I don't think i would be surprised. Thanks for the reply :>
