Fake friends lol, I don't mind being independent at times but I cannot deal with loneliness forever.

you always run the risk of having fake friends even if they seem genuine. been friends with a group for 15 years and we still gossip about each other lol but we also help each other out, keep secrets for each other, lie for each other etc so ill take my fake friends can feel lonely even with 'real' friends anyway

ye just adding on what jen said, i've a group of friends theres 4 of us and we're all best friends equally as close to each other, but we're honestly more like frenemies

Im quite anti social and hate 99.9% of humans, so yeah id rather be lonely

i'm really not sure. i sometimes think i've had a few fake friends in the past and i've coped pretty well with it, some aspects of the 'friendship' with them have been hard but it's always been quite nice to have somebody to talk to, whether they care or not.

at this point i'd probably pick being lonely, but when school starts i'd much rather have people that can't stand me and just pretend they can as i'd hate to sit alone in the corner lol
