    Default Student Accommodation Rent.

    So, how much does your student accommodation cost?

    Mine costs, £4,410 for a 42 week contract so thats, like £105 a week.

    In first year mine was £112 for a 42 week contract and next year my house is £80 per week for a 52 week contract.

    So first year was £4704 excluding the £200 deposit and including all my bills.
    Second year will be 4160 excluding the £200 deposit, the £75 admin fee, and all the bills.

    I think ours is one of the cheapest in the uk. Some of the prices sound ridic!!
    My halls was 90 a week for an ensuite on a 38 week contract. - £3420
    second year house was £200 a month (12 months contract)
    third year appartment was £215 (got it on a 10 months contract though)

    £133 a week cant remember what contract I'll be on but I'm going to need extra weeks anyway because I only have 3 weeks summer holidays

    Not quite sure how this is working out, I'll be paying £3,875 over a 50 week period (bills not included) and yet I can guarantee our property will be one of the nicer ones on this thread.

    1st year halls £98 p/w which included bills & house for 2nd year is £90 p/w which includes bills

    why's it so cheap
    I just did a conversion and it's almost double for student accommodation at my uni.. lol

    What is the standard of your accommodation - @Catchy / @Daltron? Mines low rent and yet the landlord has completely gutted the house so everything inside will be brand new, including under floor heating. I'm putting it down to location.

    Here the lowest is $250 a week not including bills for utilities which are estimated $1800 every 6 months.

    That's £150 per week plus £1080 aprox utilities

    Although the standard is beyond outstanding. All new, modern design and comes with car space.
