Default Is Elderly Abuse Right or Wrong?

I am doing a career working with Elderly taking good care of them in private homes ,hospitals and residents. Our teacher made us watch videos of elderly abuse and I find this totally wrong doing this to them or anyone else for this matter! So I decided to do a project on this for uni and I wanted to have other people opinions on this aweful situation.

What id your opinion and every opinion counts.

My opinion is if you see someone elderly getting abused , Report it immediatly!!!

I'm not sure how you'd ever be able to argue the side of the argument that says elderly abuse is "right". Won't it be difficult to do a project on it without being able to present two sides of an argument? Just a thought!

I think it's right there's too many of them in society!!1!

No on a serious note, I think they're trying to argue from the point whether it's ok to use a lot of physical force against the elderly like with the whole care home scandal in the UK where staff thought it was ok to treat them like ****, so not everyone clearly thinks it's wrong. It's like whether school kids should have the cane but just twisted to the elderly and the definition of violence widened.

Oh either way I think no obv.
