Default University of Habbox - Ends 30th November

Habbox has now been around for such a long time that there is an almost endless amount of information floating around. One would have to spend a long time to really learn everything there is to know about Habbox. I want you to design a course based around the subject of Habbox. Give it a name, 6 modules, a lecturer for each module and anything else that you see fit.

Note: For this competition I am not looking for accuracy to the specifications of a regular course, but for inventiveness and open thinking.

The entry I think is the best will win the prize below.

    Prize options:
    a) 10 credits + 15 rep
    b) 10 lottery tickets + 15 rep
    c) 25 rep.

The aim of this module is to introduce students to the notions and methods of maintaining the Habbox Wiki.

On completion of this module students will be able to visit HabboxWiki.com, create placeholder pages with no content, become unable to spot spelling errors, create articles on your closest friends and fill pages with useless opinions rather than facts.

This module usually has many places, so you may be able to enrol even without the prerequisite modules or any previous experience in content. Please apply at your department office.

Module 3: Elements of Saturday Night Quizzes
    Lecturer: Empired
Prerequisite modules: An introduction to leaking information (Year 1, Semester 1), Copy and Paste Methods (Year 2, Semester 2), Habbox: The History (Year 2, Semester 2)

The aim of this module is to introduce students to modern concepts and elements of Saturday Night Quizzes.

On completion of this module students will be able to host a Saturday Night Quiz with at least two complaints. Students will write at least one question with a wrong answer, accept an incorrectly spelled answer and refuse a correct answer because they did not use capital letters. Students will also learn to not count black as a colour, and with the Habbox: The History module, will be able to ask many indepth and complex questions about previous Habbox staff members.

How many colours are on the German Flag? If you answered 2, then this is the course for you!

Module 4: The life and times of UKIP
    Lecturer: -:Undertaker:-
Prerequisite modules: Guns don't kill people, Romanians do (Year 1, Semester 1), Multiculturalism and why it isn't multiracialism (Year 1, Semester 2), The future fall of the European Union (Year 2, Semester 1), History of Islam (Year 2, Semester 2), The life and times of Nigel Farage (Year 2, Semester 2), Why people are wrong unless they agree with you (Year 3, Semester 1).

Preferred Modules (not required): How to fix Rare Values and get away with it (Year 2, Semester 1).

The aim of this module is to finish the conversion of students into full fledged UKIP supporters.

On completion of this module students will be able to read off UKIP's policy's off by heart and will have knowledge on people of all nationalities and religions that UKIP have issues with. Students will also be the most fluent amongst their peers and they will be one of the few students that can put together more than a single paragraph of text.

This module has been highly rated and is one of the most rapidly growing modules within our University. UKIP has never been so popular.

Module 5: General Management Promotion Methods
    Lecturer: Samanfa
Prerequisite modules: Staff Application Methods (Year 1, Semester 1), Promotion Methods (Year 1, Semester 1), Manager Application Methods (Year 1, Semester 2), Managerial Methods (Year 2, Semester 1), Applying whilst Managing Methods (Year 2, Semester 1), Dual Managing Methods (Year 2, Semester 2), Reaching the quad managerial role of heaven (Year 3, Semester 1)

In this module students will attempt to learn the methods and mechanics on how to be promoted to general management whilst recapping the previously learnt methods on holding many job positions at once.

On completion of this module students will know the skills required to be promoted to general management, and will also eventually learn that promotion to general management can never actually be achieved via these skills. Further focus will be spent on how to manage many roles, and many students go on to manage their 5th department after taking part in this module.

Students that have multiple staff roles are recommended to enrol for this module. It is a must module if you are looking into becoming a manager whilst having more than one job role.

    Module 6: Feedback Report
    Lecturer: Chris
Prerequisite modules: How to improve Habbo fansites (Year 1, Semester 2), Financial management of Habbo funds (Year 2, Semester 1)

The aim of this module is to let students write a long in-depth report on how Habbox can be improved.

On completion of this module students will be able to recognize the skills required to ignore all aspects of feedback reports produced by other students. Students must only listen to their own opinions, even if their opinion is an unpopular one. Once the student completes their own feedback report and is subject to being ignored by the other peers, it will gather dust for years to come, this provides invaluable experience when you are undoubtedly ignored in the future.

This module is 100% coursework. The only lecture comes in the last week where students come along and ignore points raised in other feedback reports. Extra credit is given to students that ignore the existence of fellow students.
