    Default CV advice

I am currently updating my CV and adding experiences etc and I'm not sure whether to add my secondary school education or not. I have my qualifications from college which are higher my school ones and show that I'm at a higher level. College lecturer said this but I'm getting different answers.

I think the basics from Secondary School such as English, Maths, science possibly a foreign language if you did well in it would be suitable to include on there. I understand that logic^ but most employers will want to see that you have obtained a C in English and Maths. So unless you did them at college, I would advise you follow the bold

When I was doing my CV with the JC, they told me only to put necessary stuff such as English, Maths and Science. If lower than a C, don't put it on. Butter it up with college grades.

That's what I was told to do anyway.

I usually just put my secondary school and put how many GCSE's I got and just put including maths and english at grade A*-C as they're the only gcse's which matter, none others matter.

I don't have specific results. What I have for my college courise is something like "FETAC Level 6 Supervision in Childcare - Distinctions"

If I understand what you're asking, I would say "Achieved 10 A* - C grades at GCSE (including _ in English Language and _ in Maths)".

I was told to put along the lines of '9 A*-C including A grades in subject, subject and subject' .

    Not online very often
