New job: Miriam Gonzalez's new role as an EU trade adviser may infuriate rebels embroiled in a bitter row over Europe

Her new position could be open to criticism as the Deputy Prime Minister would be privy to information regarding EU policy and trading. Her appointment is likely to infuriate the Tories’ Eurosceptic rebels.
This made me laugh because it was only yesterday that Nick Clegg attacked UKIP and said that it was 'unpatriotic' for anybody to want Great Britain to leave the European Union aka it's now unpatriotic to want to govern your own country. On top of his wife now benefitting very nicely from our EU membership, Nick does too - see before Nick was an MP, he was an MEP - and thus he recieves or will recieve a gold plated EU pension.

I wonder why the Clegg's are so determined to see us remain in the EU?

Always reminds me of the former Labour leader, Neil Kinnock, who was against the EU for years but who underwent a sudden overnight conversion - anyway since then both he, his wife and - I think - his son have all managed to secure cushy jobs in Brussels.

Thoughts?
