Simple question. Who has influenced of most your beliefs & opinions in a good way... whether it's on philosophy, sports, religion, politics, mathematics, history, science or life in general? Or to put it another way, who do you look up to and admire? For my beliefs (mainly political/philsophical) it's Enoch Powell and Ron Paul - Powell is the backbone of High Toryism ideology and Paul introduced me to libertarian philosophy and political thought.
They're slightly different questions i'm asking I guess but just answer whichever question applies most to you. Maybe even say why and post a picture so we know who the are.

I don't really look up to anyone. I guess I like more modern people like Lady Gaga and Angelina Jolie... I wouldn't say they've changed my life, more like I support their beliefs.
i used to put the names of my favourite singers here... then i realised nobody cared

we were asked this question in class the other day and i still can not think of anyone. the only person i could come up with is my mother to a certain point, with her great strive to make our life better, but that's genuinely it i'm really the only person to push myself..

I really cannot think of anyone, not even my mum and (step)dad as I promised myself I would never become like them. Idk I guess I just decided for myself maybe????
Although in terms of philosophy (I've only read little about him) I would say I think some of the stuff Friedrich Nietzsche has said/written is pretty influential to me. I'll have to read more into him sometime :¬:Last edited by MKR&*42; 03-02-2014 at 09:34 AM.
