maybe something like, years after talking about it (so i can get all excited like IS TODAY THE DAY), we go out & do something nice then i 'find' the ring somehow!! DUNNO USE YOUR IMAGINATION

Maybe a bit of background first so I don't seem completely geeky Me and Char became friends at school because we both loved Harry Potter essentially, we were right geeks and we were reading Deathly Hallows to each other (and this was about a year and a half after it was released) - anyways, things developed since then, so it seemed fitting to try and incorporate Harry Potter into it somehow (since we're not going to have a HP themed wedding, that's for sure ), so we had a trip down to London and I proposed to her in front of the massive Hogwarts replica. Super nerve wracking because of the situation in general, but also because there were other people there She said it was perfect, so I'm happy anyways

I'd want it to mean a lot. So, a restaurant/dinner would be out of the question!
