First a Liberal Democrat councillor plants bombs & is convicted for it and now this. Always knew they were a party of fruitcakes, loonies and closet racists. And clowns too. I am confused though as to why the PM David Cameron hasn't come out and called this type of behaviour crazy/loony as he does with a certain other party.

I do hope though that this makes national headline news with 24 hour rolling coverage on the BBC and Sky as well as the national newspapers - with Nick Clegg aggressively questioned on the issue everytime he tries to speak. For some strange reason though, I don't think it'll happen.

Thoughts? Are the Liberal Democrats a nasty party out of touch with modern multiracial Britain?

If you're judging an entire political party by a couple of its members then I absolutely dread to think what UKIP is. It makes me laugh that when people slate your party over the actions of one of its members (gays causing floods rings a bell) you're the first to jump up and cry that people are unfairly judging the party due to the actions of an individual yet here you are doing the exact same.

If the media wishes to crucify Ukip for the stupid comments of a councillor or two then the same should be applied to the other three parties, with 24 hour rolling national coverage given and the three party leaders aggressively asked questions over how these people managed to overcome their selection checks.

They should all be treated the same - imagine if this story was a sitting Ukip councillor. All i'm doing in this post is pointing this out and applying the same insults/hyperbole that are pinned on Ukip whenever somebody says something stupid.
