Happy St George's Day to all......... anybody doing anything to mark it?
I'm not, just had my England flag up yesterday, today and tomorrow in place of the usual British flag. It's rather strange really because you'd think people would turn St George's Day into a drinking day similar to St Patrick's Day - I have seen more of that in recent years but it's still nowhere near on the scale of Paddy's Day."Remember that you are an Englishman, and have consequently won first prize in the lottery of life." - Cecil Rhodes

obvs as im irish i won't be celebrating but i did find it quite odd that you don't have parades like we do

Nobody does much for St George's day, I guess people drink on St Paddys because Ireland.
