So i've recently been given some fairly poor advice along the lines of "oh don't worry about your trousers, the bleach you're using to clean the cellar floor won't stain them". Needless to say that my lovely blue trousers I wear to work now have pink spots up the legs of them. Ohwell. However people have also in the past given me some good advice, such as "don't pick your course on the basis of what people will think about you doing it, pick it because you'll enjoy it". For this competition, post both the worst and the best advice you've either been given, or have to give.
