Right this is beginning to irratate me so firstly i applogise if this is the wrong section i felt it suited it best.

How does facebook chat work as in. If your using your iphone/ipod when you open the app does your online status become active? Or is it only when you open the chat? As im getting conpletely confused with this and it seems to be causing alot of arguments with people i know ha

I actually tested this the other day out of curiosity...

When you're logged in on your PC, your online status becomes Web

When you're logged in on your phone but app is closed your online status becomes the little phone symbol

When you're logged in on your phone and the app is open, your online status becomes Web


It's really weird
