Prince Charles made a private comment to a holocaust survivor that Vladmir Putin is acting like Hitler.


Is it right that the prince, next in-line to the throne should have made these comments?

tired of this trouble people get into by making comments about hitler. if somebody is taking action and it is reminiscent of naziism then everybody should be free to express what they think. 1 comment about similarity to hitler does not mean that he thinks that putin embodies all that hitler was and did.

I disagree with everyone here it seems. As a public figure there are unwritten rules which you are supposed to be upheld. You do not at all cost disrespect anyone in public, whether it to be a holocaust survivor, to the press, to a dog, nobody. Especially when its the president of ******* Russia. You know, the country that has recently just invaded another country. Free speech is to those who are not in the public domain, who aren't public figures.

As a public figure there will always be someone who wants a bonus at work to catch whoever in the act of doing something they shouldn't. If you need to express views you need to ensure it is in your own house or somewhere you thoroughly trust, to people you trust, especially on such a sensitive situation.

Prince Charles has definitely ****** up big time. Its these types of things which can start wars. Friction between two egotistic, bigoted men.

No he should not have made these comments but irregardless Hitler was years ago we should just forget about that scum sucking rodent. Anyway; everybody has the right to be mean or rude at times because we all do it so if that is his view then he can say that if he wants. He is the prince afterall.
