    Default Primark interview

Can anyone give me any advice on how to be/what to expect at a Primark interview or just an interview in general? I remember some members have worked there before and I have no idea

I have an interview on the 25th for part time so idk if it's a terrible place to work or if I should just leave it and hope somewhere else (applied for like ten and gave out like 40 cvs lol like Next have shortlisted me etc. and Aldi actually pays like £7 an hour so I applied there, applied Victorias Secret just in the the hope I might get something and I applied FootLocker too etc) gives me a interview before I take this one

Also will they pay really **** for a 16 year old just for the sake of it???

Idk but @Catchy; @Amber; both worked in primark from what I remember.

They'll probably pay minimum wage or near it, so £3.72

if it's anything below like £6 they can stuff it lol I would rather keep up my current job of answering the phone and putting chinese food into bags for £6 an hour

dunno if the fact i have like over a year experience helps but it should do cos i actually have customer service experience

my first ever interview was with them. I think it varies but mine was an interview in a huge hall with like 30 tables and you had a 1-1 interview at one of the tables. My interview was doomed the moment they asked me "who do you think are our main competitors" and I was like errrrrr... then I said "I suppose those stores that sell cheap clothing" Oopsie. In my defence I didn't mean it in a bad way but I'll never forget the look on her face. It literally looked like this

Which is over a year of experience in customer service which is what most employers are looking for. You should be able to answer any question they can throw at you. Just take your time, you're the best person for the job.

It depends really, if they're a big company there might be a lot of applicants and they will pit you against one another. A kind of elimination until there is a suitable person for the job. I wouldn't worry about it though, all shop work is very generic. If you don't get the job there just apply elsewhere - their loss.

They won't be able to pay you under the minimum wage.

    How did it go anyway?
