    Whats quorn chicken like?

I randomly bought some the other day, haven't tried it yet but does it have the taste an texture of real meat?

It's not 100% the same but quorn products in general are hugely improved over what you used to get as vegetarian options BACK IN MY DAY, we have them loads because my mum is vegetarian and while having actual meat once in a while is nice still I have no complaints

The consistency is more like a bratwurst but quorn chicken is quite delicious

I haven't personally tried anything with quorn in the title, but I very rarely eat meat anyway, nor is it hugely appealing to me, so I guess I haven't really come across the choice of a substitute.

Nope, but it has an okay texture. Like real chicken it will be a bit bland on its own so try to cook it with some sort of sauce or rub in some herbs and spices to give it some flavour.

It all depends on what you like so you should try it and find out Personally I'm not keen and do not see the point in Quorn. If I have to eat vegetarian food I just cook lots of vegetables. The meat-like texture seems a bit strange and unnecessary.

I just tried one piece with some spices.

It was fine, the texture was weird and taste was similar but the actual biting into it was not the same, It was much thinner then normal chicken breast and was not as soft in the middle as proper chicken.

I probably won't buy it again, I would much rather eat the real thing, but I understand why vegetarians would use it.
