Recently my mum came across a post named 'Things mums say' and it had a lot of phrases my mum used to say to me when I was younger that I remember. One of them being 'Don't stare at the TV, you'll get square eyes.' I was laughing to myself and thought, an idea for a competition!

this is not exactly wacky... but my father wld say to me while pointing to a new store-bought, full milo tin - 'if anybody asks, this is not milo.'

um nice way to deceive me cuz I eat everything in the house lmao.

idk what other countries' version of milo is; hot chocolate?

when i used to yell for my mom in the house she always replied thats my name dont wear it out
