Default How to tell a girl you like her...

Not really had much experience, but there is this girl in my form who i've been close friends with for a while. She had a boyfriend through the time I knew her, but only a few days ago they split up. I've liked her for a while now, but now she's split up with her boyfriend, how do I approach telling her that I like her? Any suggestions? :s :/

I'd wait before approaching tbh haha, if she's only just split up then give it a few weeks at least or you'll be the rebound.

Why not just approach her and ask hey do you wanna do x together sometime and then see if feeling gets mutual and ask her mmh

Honesty is key. Go up to her and just tell her how you feel. You'll be embarrassed and you'd do better to show it than try and hide it.You lot never seem to understand just how much we like it when you tell us the truth about how you feel. Just even a "hey I really like you" is cute as heck.

Just thinking it's better to tell her than try asking her out without stating your feelings 'cause otherwise she might think u just wanna hang out as friends. Like it may be obvious to u that ur asking her on a date but sometimes it's reaaaallly not. (Thinking of Ted + Stella in How I Met Your Mother lol)

And if she says no (I hate to put a downer on this but it could happen so yh), take it nicely. If you don't wanna be around her after that's ok, but u gotta respect her opinion. I'm sure u would anyway but I thought I'd say just in case.

er give it a bit first it's likely theyre not completely done yet and could still be speaking and one of them/both of them could want to get back together which will make u look bad if u come out so soon bout having feelings for her because even if she did have some feeling for u it's unlikely she will return the feelings so soon after her relationship. unless it was her who ended it and tbh even if she did she won't be completely over it yet

right now you should just be supportive and speak to her more and see if she gives anything away about where her and the ex are at. mayb suggest hanging out but dont expect anything from it unless she makes first move

I've been supportive with her, she is always saying "love you loads you know" and "thanks for everything" which is nice, but think she means as a friend or she could be hinting something, doubt it though.

Can i just say as a girl who has said this before: she means she values your help and your friendship. Try not to overthink things cos that's the worst

If it's a few days ago, just stay friends for now. I'd say wait a month or two then tell her that you like her as more than a friend
