No swearing. Apprantly you have to say to your kid now 'you're not being a superstar' rather than 'don't be naughty' as it's degrading so I'm gonna say that now to mine
- If they are lazy, drop out of school and/or use up all my money without putting in any effort, they can find somewhere else to live once they hit 18.
- No (excessive) swearing, mild language would be ok though
- Do what they are asked and be expected to help out around the house
There are probably more but these are the rules we have in our house and apply to both myself and my brother - I'd just implement them too as I think they work quite well![]()
What that's even worse surely because they'll grow up thinking that if they're not a superstar they're worthless, it's like when parents tell their kids they're great at something when they're not it just sets them up to fail (think bad X Factor auditions)
My kids will not be allowed to wear Juicy Couture and if they ever decide that Morrissey is good they will be out of the house nah idk basic politeness will be enforced obv because that's important to me and being grateful especially since all 18 of them will end up having to wage war for my inheritance
Um do well in school and follow your dreams I guess?idrk
