Default Nigel Farage brands LGBT activists 'filth' and 'scum'

Nigel Farage brands LGBT activists 'filth' and 'scum' and accuses them of scaring away his children after they invade his local pub

The Ukip leader Nigel Farage branded a group of LGBT rights protesters “filth” and “scum” after they invaded a pub where he was having lunch with his family – apparently causing his children to run away.

Campaigners claiming to represent “those who have been targeted by Ukip” planned to stage a demonstration of around 100 people at Mr Farage’s local pub in the village of Downe in Kent.

When they realised the Ukip leader was actually at another pub across the road, they ran across and “took the cabaret of diversity into that pub” instead, according to the activists.

Mr Farage was pictured leaving the pub through a throng of people to his waiting car, after which protesters chased him down the road and tried to jump on the car’s bonnet.

The politician claimed to be in the pub with his wife and two younger children, aged 15 and 10, when the activists wearing fancy dress came in.

Shame on Nigel, people have a right to protest him.

Tbf I'm all for a peaceful protest, but this wasn't that.

If he branded all LGBT as scum then yes absolutely he's bat crap crazy, but if he's just branding this group scum then I don't disagree. From the guardian article:

Farage was with his wife and two younger children when the demonstrators arrived at the George & Dragon pub. As he tried to leave, at least one protester jumped on the bonnet of his car.

The demonstrators said Farage pushed through them to get into the car and was then chased down the road.

Farage said afterwards: “I hope these ‘demonstrators’ are proud of themselves. My children were so scared by their behaviour that they ran away to hide.”
Jumping onto his car is out of the question, you shouldn't be doing that. And harassing him whilst his family (inc. children) are with him and scaring them is also out of the question, those protesters were a moronic bunch.

It's the same sort of far-left lunatic nutters who in the 1980s during the Thatcher Government were spotted across the country at various 'spontaneous' anti-government protests giving rise to the twin phrases rent-a-mob and professional protestors. Funnily enough generally you never see right wingers shouting down their opposition. I'd bet my left nut and my right nut that they're involved with the UAF, Greens, Socialist Worker's Party and Greenpeace. Y'know the type, smelly and unwashed, long hair that is dyed the colours of the rainbow, piercings in the nose, wears sandals and eats tofu.

Anyway, what are the LGBTXYZ protestors going after Farage for? They'd be better protesting outside their local mosque.. and then see what happens.

Looks like these supposed LGBT activists were actually as he described. Filth and scum. Jumping on his vehicle, harrassing him and his family... What are they trying to prove?

    Oops I spoke too soon...

Holbourne was recently pictured at the House of Commons with Labour MPs Chukka Umunna and Diane Abbott (not really a surprise, is it?). She appeared on a platform at the TUC conference with PCS Deputy President Kevin McHugh vowing to 'develop campaigns with Hope not Hate and Unite Against Fascism' to stop UKIP. Is this the sort of action they had in mind, attacking a family while they ate lunch? Intimidating a couple of teenage girls?

Holbourne is a co-chair of BARAC (black activists rising against cuts) with Lee Jasper. Regular readers may remember Jasper as a former deputy mayor of London until leaving under a financial cloud after being accused of using the public's money to make unauthorised grants to an organisation run by a woman he was banging. He also regularly appears on platforms with Green Party leader Natalie Bennett and with Jasna Badzak, the fraudster currently awaiting trial on harassment charges following her conviction for stealing from UKIP MEP Gerard Batten a year or so ago.

Glass meanwhile is a professional campaigner against, well, everything. From airport runways to NHS cuts, he's a typical middle-class Green Party watermelon - green on the outside, red on the inside. A member of the 'Green Left' movement - it's far enough left to make Josef Stalin look like a liberal - he is also an activist with the union funded 'Stand up to UKIP' movement. His Facebook page is a web of organisations which protest against things, but its rather harder to find something that he's for besides a lot of protesting.

There's peaceful protest and then there's that. He wasn't campaigning, he was out having a family meal/day out and they deliberately went to seek him out. It's not exactly civilised behaviour.
