May Events Roundup!

May has drawn to a close, meaning it is time for the monthly Events Roundup!

Each month we will have a quick review of all that has taken place that month, reveal the winner of the raffle draw and announce the events player of the month.

It is difficult to compare May to April because we had the Easter Eggstravaganza at the start of April, so this month was a little bit quieter, combined with the fact that a number of staff and players have been fighting through the stress of exams. Although there has been nothing major seen on the public side of things, we have been working hard on some new ideas which will be coming your way in June so don't think we've been sitting on our bottoms drinking bubble juice all day long!

However, we did introduce one new idea through May which is the Community Hosting scheme which will be ran periodically and gives all you lovely Habbox users the chance to host a round or two of an event without any commitments to be made, other than staying for the duration of your round and being on your best behaviour. Although it hasn't kicked off fully yet, we will continue hosting the events and see how they turn out in the future. We are always looking for more members to join the Events Department and this is just one of many methods we are using to hunt down new staff.

We love it when you all come on down to our events, so we want to reward you even more! Each month we will select one user who we think deserves the crown of events player of the month. To earn yourself this title you will need to make yourself stand out to Events Staff within Habbox Events. There are a number of ways you can achieve this, the main one being just turning up and taking part in events!

As our second month offering Raffle Tickets as a prize, it has still been generating quite a bit of interest! We didn't quite reach the 125 tickets that we had last month, but we did manage to accumulate 71 tickets overall. All ticket holders have been assigned a number at random between 1 and 71 as shown in the spoiler below.

A little section for you number lovers now.. in this section I will review the staff numbers and events hosted over the month!

We currently have 12 members on the team, which is a slight drop from the 14 we had at the end of April. If you want to join the team, applications are currently open - just check out Habbox.com/jobs for all the information you need.

We have had a little change behind the scenes this month which means our weeks now run from Monday to Sunday rather than from the 1st of the month, so I'll outline the number of events hosted over each period below!

1st to 3rd - 17 events
4th to 10th - 32 events
11th to 17th - 27 events
18th to 24th - 31 events
25th to 31st - 21 events

That gives a grand total of 128 events this month, up 20 on April's total! Many thanks to all of our Events Hosts and also to all of you who come along and take part in our events!
