Just wanted to give feedback on the new reactions for the forum...

can we not have negative ones like thumbs down or angry face i feel very restricted

You were more restricted before with just "Like" - You now have 3 other emotions to choose from.
We want to keep negativity away from the forum, by adding an angry face or a dislike reaction, it could cause unwanted or mis-use of the reaction system, which we want to prevent.

so instead of a little angry face expressing my dislike for your post and leaving it there, i'm instead gonna have to type out that that's a load of sensitive bs and if people can't deal with receiving an angry face/thumbs down what are they doing on a social forum? i get it it's 2020 and we're all precious little petals now but cmon man

Posts are easier to moderate than reactions for a start, plus we'd rather you actually post a reply, than just react to a post then leave. We want to encourage posting, second to that, as long as what you're typing doesn't break the Forum Rules then that's fine.

fair enough sectional that makes sense,just my 2 cents. just figured while you're there giving the forum a modern touch you might aswell go for the whole shabang and range

rep is already here, it's just re-branded as the "+like" button, if you wanna +rep someone then click the like button, and it '+reps' them.
Could even mix things up and if a +like isn't enough you can +love it. Amazing right?
